These applications are run across multiple servers on a fully managed serverless platform. The advantage of using this platform is that you’ll get access to Google’s other platforms, which makes running asynchronous tasks easier.
However, since App Engine runs in a sandbox, you have to use a supported language or specific versions of a programming language.
